Motivation & Inspiration
Some lives are not merely lived—they are offered to history. Some names are not just remembered—they are etched into the soul of a nation. Shaheed Chandra Bhan Singh Ji was one such soul, a man whose life stood as a shining example of courage, sacrifice, humility, and unwavering patriotism. Alongside him stands the silent strength and grace of his beloved wife, Smt. Vimla Devi Ji, whose life was defined by dignity, devotion, and quiet resilience.
This tribute is not only a recounting of events; it is a celebration of values, a call to conscience, and a torch of inspiration for generations to come.
Humble Beginnings, Great Dreams
Shaheed Chandra Bhan Singh Ji was born in a small village in Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh, a land known for its simplicity, honesty, and deep-rooted values. His father was a farmer—a man of the soil—who earned his livelihood through hard work and perseverance. From an early age, young Chandra Bhan Singh learned the true meaning of labor, discipline, and responsibility. Before the sun rose and after it set, he stood shoulder to shoulder with his father in the fields, understanding that dignity lies not in wealth, but in effort.
These early experiences shaped his character. They instilled in him a sense of humility, resilience, and respect for life. Despite limited resources, his household was rich in values—truthfulness, integrity, and love for the motherland.
A Brilliant Mind and a Noble Heart
From his school days, Chandra Bhan Singh Ji stood out—not merely because of his intelligence, but because of his character. Teachers admired him for his discipline and dedication. Classmates respected him for his kindness and leadership. He was a brilliant student, quick to learn and eager to help others. Yet, despite academic excellence, he never allowed pride to cloud his humility.
Patriotism That Ran in His Blood
From a very young age, he carried within him an unshakable love for Bharat Mata. While others dreamed of comfort and security, he dreamed of service and sacrifice.
Choosing Duty Over Comfort
When Chandra Bhan Singh Ji decided to join the Indian Army, he embraced the risks with pride. For him, wearing the uniform was a sacred duty.

The 1971 Indo-Pakistani War
In 1971, he stood at the frontlines displaying extraordinary bravery. When instructed to retreat due to limited support, he chose valor over fear.
A Hero’s Final Stand
Even when enemy machine-gun fire struck him in the chest, he did not retreat. He fought until his last breath.
He fell, but he did not fail.
He died, but he became immortal.

A Silent Warrior, A Living Inspiration
Smt. Vimla Devi Ji
Smt. Vimla Devi Ji deserves not only naman and heartfelt respect, but eternal admiration. She was not just the beloved wife of Shaheed Chandra Bhan Singh Ji—she was a warrior in her own right. When the nation lost a brave soldier in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, she lost her life partner. Overnight, destiny placed upon her shoulders an unimaginable responsibility: to raise three young children alone, in a world suddenly stripped of certainty and security.
At a time when grief could have broken her spirit, she chose courage over despair.
Widowed at a young age, surrounded by social, emotional, and financial challenges, she transformed her pain into purpose and founded Navjeevan Oil Company.
She was driven by necessity, responsibility, and an unshakable will. Every hardship she faced was silently absorbed so that her children could stand tall tomorrow.
Her life was a testament to the truth that real strength often speaks softly but stands unmovable.
Her son Mr. Girish Bhan Singh carried forward the legacy and today serves as the Managing Director of the school.
Sadly, she left us on 30th April 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Yet her life continues to inspire.
You were the backbone of a legacy.
A symbol of resilience.
A beacon for every woman who dares to stand strong.
Naman. Shraddhanjali. Eternal Respect. 🙏
