About Us
Shaheed Chandra Bhan Singh Memorial Academy (S.C.B.M.A.) was founded on July 10, 2007, in memory of Shaheed Chandra Bhan Singh and his wife Vimla Devi. Born in a small village in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, Chandra Bhan Singh came from a farming family and showed early academic brilliance and patriotism. Inspired to serve the nation, he joined the Army.
He displayed extraordinary courage during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Despite limited resources and orders to retreat, he attacked and destroyed the enemy post. During this brave act, he was shot in the chest by machine-gun fire and made the supreme sacrifice for his country.
The association honors his legacy and sacrifice, reminding future generations of his bravery and dedication to the nation.
